Subject: s.a.a. Mugshots problem

This afternoon, about thirty minutes ago, ALL images on s.a.a. Mugshots
completely vanished from my harddrive and the website. They were there one
minute, then I tried to upload something else to the site and upon
publishing with the new addition included, all images were gone. What is
more amazing, as I have already said, is that they are no longer stored
anywhere on my computer.

So, the site is without images. Anyone wishing to resubmit a new image is
encouraged to do so. Anyone with any explanation as to what happened
please let me know.

Let that be a lesson to you that it is very important to perform periodic
backups of any computer system. In this day and age of low cost backup
devices there is no reason to loose any data. If you have a hard drive
failure or make an operator error, you can loose important data. Check out
costco.com for some good firewire or USB backup devices.

A lot of the pics still seem to be available on the notorious Gareth
Slee's site at

Feel free to dredge up mine.

Ya they even have me taken when I was still using my Stargazer Steve Dob,
that had to be not any later than early 2002 when B8 was done and started
using it.

but hay he can use it too as I still have that scope too !

There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the
universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the
Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be
brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the
heavens.
