i have a C8 and I qould likw mount it so i can look throu it -- There are those who believe that life here, began out there, far across the universe, with tribes of humans, who may have been the forefathers of the Egyptians, or the Toltecs, or the Mayans. Some believe that they may yet be brothers of man, who even now fight to survive, somewhere beyond the heavens. Replying to the original poster, I'm not sure, but perhaps Orion telescopes has the equipment you need, if you don't want to try building your own, not quite a trivial task given that the C8 has the eyepiece holder at the bottom of the tube, precluding a Dobson-like mount. And I don't know of any alt-azimuth mount sold that is large enough, but others can comment on that. http://www.telescope.com/jump.jsp?itemID=0&itemType=HOME_PAGE Item 07376 is probably large enough. As for the mount, it'll have to carry the weight of the scope, and I'm not familiar enough with the C8 to guess it's weight, but mount 09822 might be heavy enough. --- Dave KLM wrote: > *BETTER TYPING.
