A camera that has an unremovable lens needs to be used with an eyepiece (just like you need an eyepiece to use your eye with a telescope). This is called afocal imaging, and can be accomplished at its simplest by simply holding the camera up to an eyepiece- somewhat suitable for the Moon and bright planets, but not for much else. A variety of adapters are available which will allow you to mount your camera rigidly above an eyepiece, making longer, steadier shots possible. _________________________________________________ Chris L Peterson Cloudbait Observatory http://www.cloudbait.com
