Subject: colourful chi Cyg fades

Now down a whole mag to ~mv 4.8 according to AAVSO from its rare mv 3.8
maximum in August, the star presents a beautiful range of 'fluted'
colours as it fades as my shot of Sept 3 at

It's taken with a static 4" SCT + Canon Rebel and grating which spreads
a single stellar point like chi Cyg over 50K pixels! More at
