I finally finished reading the Manual on the Gemini G-11 system and have
a good idea how to best use it with my configuration and it's been
cloudy for the past week and no end in site.
Now granted it is no-longer as hot nor as humid, but still....
Who bought the new equipment in Orange County?

The massive monsoonal pattern over Southern California has been such a
large and pervasive cloud and humidity generator that the only
plausible cause was the equally massive refurbishment that was recently
done at the 60 inch telescope at Mt. Wilson Observatory.
In addition Palomar Observatory recently installed its new 24 inch
telescope, so they can share the blame.
