Stepped out tonight out back and got hit right in the eyeball with a major light. Seems like because they've been robbed 3 times (with all their lights on) that the owner has put up some more lights (as if that'll stop anyone), and one of them on the back side of the place (Card playing place 1/4 mile away) is shining right towards us, lighting up the whole blasted field between that place and the trailer park. I walked down and looked at it, it can be tuned to face more downward and/or a reflective shield put over the top to aim the light downward, oh ya, it's a MEGAWATT quorts/Hogen light buld and I do mean BIG. So I talked to the night manager and he gave me the name of who to talk to on monday during the daytime. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Sidewalk Astronomy www.sidewalkastronomy.info Astronomy Net Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/astronomy_net In Garden Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/ingarden Blast Off Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/starlords Astro Blog http://starlord.bloggerteam.com/

Well, the people I have to talk to don't come in until Monday, and after I go get my meds filled early, I'll have the drawings I've done and I'll be dressed well and I'll go in as someone who knows what to say. One thing, I was able to walk all around the outside area without being seen, I just used the skills I used in Vietnam. They have at lest 4 or 5 "officers" in front but not a soul in the back or to the sides, leaving them wide open to attack. There's zero metal det's at the door, anyone could walk in with a gun in their belt and pull it out once inside, and a small group with a plan could take'm out fast. There's only ONE power line to the place and zero backup gen's for power in case of a blackout. They should have put the light on a pole facing the place. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Sidewalk Astronomy www.sidewalkastronomy.info Astronomy Net Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/astronomy_net In Garden Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/ingarden Blast Off Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/starlords Astro Blog http://starlord.bloggerteam.com/ "RMOLLISE" <rmollise@hotmail.com > wrote in message news:1156604523.081580.94480@i3g2000cwc.googlegroups.com... > > Starlord wrote: >> Stepped out tonight out back and got hit right in the eyeball with a >> major >> light. Haven't heard of that, and no major smoke when I was out in the garden, but then again, I'm up in Rosamond, not down in Lancaster. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Sidewalk Astronomy www.sidewalkastronomy.info Astronomy Net Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/astronomy_net In Garden Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/ingarden Blast Off Online Gift Shop http://www.cafepress.com/starlords Astro Blog http://starlord.bloggerteam.com/ "Phil Wheeler" <wt6uh-ng7@yahoo.com > wrote in message news:d%0Ig.17129$YC3.3983@tornado.socal.rr.com... > Starlord wrote: >> Well, the people I have to talk to don't come in until Monday, and after >> I go get my meds filled early, I'll have the drawings I've done and I'll >> be dressed well and I'll go in as someone who knows what to say.
