Someone gave me an astro-compass to use to determine true north. Anyone know
how to use it? It's the second image at

I suggest reverse engineering and see what procedure that yields.

It's a surprisingl complex device. It has a sight marked declination. A
level (bubble). A true bearing circle graduation from 0 to 360 deg. A true
course axis graduated circle (0 to 360, N, W, S, E). H. A. (hour angle) and
S. Lat (???) circle (0-360 in red). And more. I think I'm in need of a manual.
