I had heard how big the TeleVue 35mm PanOptic is but didn't quite understand
until mine arrived today.

Damn, when the clouds roll in on a star party, we can play football with
this thing!!!

OH...she's big...but you wanna see REALLY big? Eyepiece wise?

I do still love and use the 35 Pan, by the way. Along with the 27 Pan,
it's one of my favorites.

yep...a real hand grenade. just don't drop the thing whne your all jacked up
at a star party or scrounging
around in the dark. You'll blow up when you consider what you just lost and
how much you paid for it.

That's no reason not to invest in good, big eyepieces. Just treat them
the way you would a good camera lens. I've never lost one due to being
"jacked up" and I'm not sure what I'd be "scrounging." ;-)
