Subject: So, Nobody saw NASA's Lunar Prospector crash into the Moon?




I had forgotten to pay attention on the actual day it took place but I
had anticipated at least some mention here in the NG. Seems it was a
dud of sorts, eh?

Was anyone here watching at the time?

Hi:

While I haven't heard of anybody seeing it visually, a few people were
able to image it.

Depends on what you mean by "dud". The ESO was pretty darned happy.
