Subject: SkyTools 2 Question
|
Occasionally I would like to print a chart by specifying the following parameters: Limiting Magnitude Field of View Field Center Mirror Reversed (sometimes, other times not) Without any symbols for galaxies, etc. -- just the stars. From time to time I've tried doing this myself; but I've never been able to get it done quite right on my first try. I've always ended up with several wasted printouts (wasted paper, wasted ink, wasted time) before I could get reasonably close to what I wanted. I'll be attempting a printout later today. If anyone has a recommended procedure that could end my frustration in this task I would appreciate hearing about it. Thanks! (Sorry if this posts twice. The first attempt supposedly failed!) It looks like I've succeeded in answering my own question! Since past attempts had been relatively unsuccessful, I had expected the same this time around and posted the question prior to another attempt on my own. (It had been months since my last attempt.) For whatever reason (perhaps due to a bit of sleep deprivation;-) I seem to have stumbled upon a repeatable procedure that works good enough. In due time I may develop an improved attitude toward SkyTools! Willie R. Meghar http://meghar.blogspot.com/
