I think the guy was smoking in bed, but a meteor sounds better. _________________________________________________ Chris L Peterson Cloudbait Observatory http://www.cloudbait.com

Sad to see it from Germany. I guess the police can't be expected to know better, but the folks at Bochum Observatory should have set them straight. While it is a virtual certainty that the fire wasn't caused by a meteor at all, the suggestion that it was caused by an Orionid (which is how I interpret this) is especially ludicrous. _________________________________________________ Chris L Peterson Cloudbait Observatory http://www.cloudbait.com
