Rosamond Report 9/30/06 During the Day I had not planned on going up to the corner because of cloud cover most of the day. But by 6:30pm while still around the clouds had thined out and the moon was able to be seen. So as my CFH was already loaded up, I went up to the corner and set up by 7pm. I didn't have a rush of people show up, but the night went ok, as none of the time draged on by, it turned out that a few single people would stop by and we'd talk for some time about astronomy and then I also had two good sized faimlys showed up and spent some good time at the scope and they both had some good questions about stars and stuff which I was able to give answers too. The last ones to show up where a small group that came with a guy who had stopped by some weeks before, him and his group will be ones who will return now and then. It wasn't a bad night, in fact the last hour the clouds didn't cover the moon at all. -- The Lone Sidewalk Astronomer of Rosamond Telescope Buyers FAQ http://home.inreach.com/starlord Sidewalk Astronomy www.sidewalkastronomy.info The Church of Eternity http://home.inreach.com/starlord/church/Eternity.html
