Subject: Relation ship of earth with magnet

Its just very interesting to how this earth has evolved if you see the
past then you can just get an idea that so many dust particles combined
to form a planet named earth .but you can just think how earth become a
magnet . this just simple science if you think of a magnet of any shape
which attracts metal pieces then we can analyse that it will not
attract those metal pieces at only one place . the metal pieces will be
attracted surroundingly &this is the type of the force which is present
inside the earth &which is named as gravitation.

Umm, you are confused. First of all, gravity and magnetism are not the
same. Gravity is attraction at a distance. Magnets do not attract from a
distance. Moreover, the strength of the gravitational force of a body is
directly proportional to its mass. Not so with a magnet. The strength of
a magnetic field is inversely proportional to the cube of the distance of a
ferous object from the magnet. And finally, magnets attract primarily
ferous objects. There is no such elemental limit to what gravity can
attract.

Thank you for clearing that up.
