Subject: Relation ship of earth with magnet
|
Its just very interesting to how this earth has evolved if you see the past then you can just get an idea that so many dust particles combined to form a planet named earth .but you can just think how earth become a magnet . this just simple science if you think of a magnet of any shape which attracts metal pieces then we can analyse that it will not attract those metal pieces at only one place . the metal pieces will be attracted surroundingly &this is the type of the force which is present inside the earth &which is named as gravitation.

Umm, you are confused. First of all, gravity and magnetism are not the same. Gravity is attraction at a distance. Magnets do not attract from a distance. Moreover, the strength of the gravitational force of a body is directly proportional to its mass. Not so with a magnet. The strength of a magnetic field is inversely proportional to the cube of the distance of a ferous object from the magnet. And finally, magnets attract primarily ferous objects. There is no such elemental limit to what gravity can attract. George
