Subject: Re-creating Galileo's Telescopes

A friend of mine, and his wife, have just completed a project to re-create
Galileo's Telescopes. Both the "working" scope (the one he used to observe
the heavens) and the "presentation" scope (the one he gave to dignitaries).
They gave a presentation of how they were able to do this at a meeting of
the Amateur Telescope Makers of Boston. I videotaped it, and made it
available on-line. NOTE: Real Player and a broadband connection is
necessary to view it. It is one hour long.
