Phil,

I have two of them and have used a third which comprise the major types
that they sell and I have one of their mounts. So if you have any
specific questions I'll be glad to answer them.

253mm (10inch) f/6 Newtonian (circa 1990's)
253mm (10inch) f/4 Newtonian (2003)
253mm (10inch) f/15 Cassegrain (HIT 2004)

Parks Superior Mount with 1.5" Shafts.

253mm f/4 took the following:

253mm /f6 took the following:

Regards

Bill

Hi Phil,

Thanks, but all I did was to open the shutter. The OTA's probably weigh
about 35 pounds for the 253mm f/4 and 43 pounds for the 253mm f/6.
That's just the bare tubes and glass etc. The rings that hold the OTA,
dovetails and photographic gear add to the total depending on the
configuration.
