Click on the thumbnail for Catherine Leroy. On that page click on the
thumbnail titled "North Vietnamese Lieutenant and his men, 1968." Look
closely at the NVA soldier standing in the middle of the photo -- anything
look familiar?

Yep, one had a M-79, and as they where always hijacking our amo trucks and
grabing any weapons they could get, very offen the NAV's and even the VC
where using not only USA amo, but wepons too.
One HE round from that and there'd be no more lights on a building to the
south of me.

There'd be plenty of red and blue flashing lights soon afterward. :)

As the M79 didn't make a lot of noise when fired and you didn't have to air
real tight as with other guns, they'd have a hell of a time firgureing out
where the shell came from. I could be parked in the driveway, poke it out my
window, fire and drive out of the trailer park and head north. It would hit
and blow those lights out and by the time any cops or fire dept got there,
I'd be up into the hills and I'd have my scope with me and I wouldn't know a
thing about what happened. I'd have someplace up at my hidden viewing area
to hide the 79 too. And a bottle of bleach would take care of any gunpowder
left over.
