Subject: OT: ESA Mars Express 3D Cydonia pics


Not sure if this had already been raised. The ESA released some stereo camera
pics of the Cydonia region on the 21st. Maybe this will shut up the face of
Mars kooks once and for all.

Most folks who get tangled up in such nonsense will never be convinced they
are wrong, no matter how good the evidence. It is, however, nice to see
some new photos. It will be interesting to see how creative the true
believers will be in defending "The Face." (Have there been better photos
of Kermit, the Frog on Mars?)

Of course, the face was created so that it would have the appropriate
perspective here on Earth. How it looks on Mars has no bearing on the
matter. Jeeze, Alan, don't you know ANYthing? ;-P
