Can somebody give me the link to the picture which shows the American flag in the moon observed through a telescope from Earth or elsewhere? Or is it not possible to observe the flag from Earth? -- Thanks in advance, rAgAv.

It's not possible - our telescopes are much too small. To be able to resolve the flags left on the Moon from on or near the Earth, one would need an optical space telescope with an aperture of at least some 250 meters! By going into the far ultraviolet, the aperture requirements could be lowered to perhaps some 50 meters. But we're nowhere near such a telescope yet. >-- >Thanks in advance, >rAgAv. -- ---------------------------------------------------------------- Paul Schlyter, Grev Turegatan 40, SE-114 38 Stockholm, SWEDEN e-mail: pausch at stockholm dot bostream dot se WWW: http://stjarnhimlen.se/

I just heard that there is no telescope on earth which can see the hardware placed on the moon's surface during the pollo missions. Although i don't believe that the moon landings were fake, i can have a one-picture-proof, if i can get the photos of the equipments on the surface on moon. If you belong to the bunch of nonsense group who believe the hoax theories, i recommand you read the article in this link. http://www.braeunig.us/space/hoax.htm NASA's verdict on moon hoax theories:- "Did the Apollo astronauts really land on the Moon? Of course they did! The Apollo Moon landings were among the most completely documented and observed events in history. The conspiracy "theories" that claim otherwise are a bunch of nonsense without even a single compelling piece of evidence. Most of the questions raised are based on ignorance of basic physics and optics. Video special effects were in their infancy in the late 60's so that faking a landing on the Moon would probably have been more difficult than actually going there, and it seems highly unlikely that the hundreds or even thousands of people who would have had to be involved in such a conspiracy would have kept it a secret for so long. Ultimately you'll have to decide for yourself if the marginal evidence offered to show this was all a hoax is compelling enough to overturn the overwhelming evidence that it actually occurred, but make sure you check the facts carefully, you need to be a little skeptical of the skeptics, too. For more detailed debunking of this ill-conceived notion, see: http://www.badastronomy.com/bad/misc/apollohoax.html, http://pirlwww.lpl.arizona.edu/~jscotti/NOT_faked/, http://www.nsta.org/pubs/tst/article1.asp, http://www.redzero.demon.co.uk/moonhoax/." -- rAgAv.
