The picture is conspicuously similar to the Titan
"rocks" photoed by Hyugens.

Not without a reference, Thomas. I don't know what pictures you are
comparing any of these to.

Which picture? I see:
A. bubbles trapped under ice
B. ice covered ponds
C. ice wedges Siberia.

Methane Ice sounds like the next thing from one of the megabrewers.
"Drink this and get gas"

The release of CH4 and CO2 from permafrost just sounds like another
boot hitting the tile.
First there was measureable global warming, which was likely expected
to be linear.
Then there was found global warming is compounding, an increasing rate
each year.

Which would the CH4 & CO2 release likely support:

A. Increasing rates?
B. Addition to already increasing rates?

There was a good bit on the BBC this weekend about the melting of
glaciers in the Alps.

How about a gold star?

I'm wondering if this is behind the rash of very poor viewing nights
this year. Hear's hoping Autumn is much drier and clearer.
