Subject: Mercury Transit Contact Points

Hi saa,

I need help. All pictures of the upcoming Mercury transit, viewed
naked eye, show the first contact point with the Sun at approximately
7:30 as you look at a clock face, with the exit point somewhere around
3 on a clock face. My question is this: viewing the transit through my
refractor (ST80 with a solar filter), using a clock face to simplify it
for me, where will the first contact appear? I know it's a dumb
question, but I am confused!

Thanks for the help!

Rick

???

I was living in a trailer down in Ramona, CA. in the back yard of another
breeder. Her and her husban went to a cat show, same one I went to with my
Red Tabby JBT. While we where gone, her housekeeper had her boyfrend show up
with a pickup truck and they relly cleaned out the main house and then they
came out to my trailer, as the back of the trailer was locked because of my
cats, they just went into the front room and there my camera gear was on the
desk. They took all my camera gear, Topcon Super D I'd gotten in Vietnam, My
Exa, my Exacta, a ton of lens and flash gear and then they went to my
storeage shead and busted it open and helped themselves to a lot of my
collictable depression glassware that I had been building up for 20 some
years, oh ya my 4th camera the Lica IIIG went too.

They headed for parts unknown, they cleaned out all the high price tape gear
the man had.

It took me 3 hours to get the cats they had let out of my trailer back
saftly.

Happened Sept. 1987. The Great Ripoff.
