Subject: Looking for small polarizing filter...

Not really for astro application, but does anyone know of a source for
a bit of polarizing material? I need a disc about 6mm dia, with as
much light tansmission as possible; I'll be making the mounting
arrangements myself, so sheet is ok as well.

Try http://www.anchoroptics.com . They have commercial grade glass
polarizing filters as well as plastic film. This is a good source for
all sorts of inexpensive optics.

Old liquid crystal displays, peel it off and old calculator display.
