Looking for some images of the 3 planet grouping. Anyone have =
links/images yet?

Edward Erbeck posted a 1x one over in alt.binaries.pictures.astro.

The best way to predict reality, is to know exactly what you DON'T want.

Thanks Ioannis. I'll take a look.

Use the excellent guide of the solar system live to put your orbital
position in actual context of the inner Mercury and the outer Mars and
Jupiter -

http://www.fourmilab.ch/cgi-bin/Solar/action?sys=-Sf

Contemporary tools are an incredible way to experience the dynamics of
our motion along with the other planets around the Sun.

If sall you can manage is to see the sub-geocentric grouping of
Mercury,Mars and Jupiter then so be it but real heliocentric astronomy
is so much more exciting and you can still keep your magnification
exercise.

Huh?

Don't worry, he doesn't understand what he said either.

What do you think of this ? -

" For to the earth planetary motions appear sometimes direct, sometimes
stationary, nay, and sometimes retrograde. But from the sun they are
always seen direct," NEWTON

If you ever figure out that planetary orbital motions around the Sun
are seen from an orbitally moving Earth thereby consigning that
Newtonian garbage to where it belongs then you can speak of
conjunctions like a man and not like a weakminded fool.

I suppose you think yourself an astronomer but until you know what
astronomy actually is,you are a nuisance to astronomy, its methods and
its insights.

Let him try to understand the Earth's orbital position and motion in
respect to the ineer Mercury and the outer Mars and Jupiter using the
silly Newtonian view -

" For to the earth planetary motions appear sometimes direct, sometimes
stationary, nay, and sometimes retrograde. But from the sun they are
always seen direct," Newton

You freaks actually do see a 'grouping' of planets and nothing
else, that is what makes you weakminded sub-geocentric creatures.
