Two packages came today while I was away at the Doc's. Number 1 package was
my M51 hat from my Astronomy Net online shop, I ordered it last saturday
with the bit of money I had in my account there, that is the #1 thing sold,
and I do like it.

The other package was my 8 tubes of Collodion MD002 Non-flexible collodion
USP

I use Collodion to clean mirrors, and I strongly advise you to use this
stuff in a well-ventilated area away from any flames, e.g. outside, and to
experiment with a mirror/piece of glass that you don't care about before
using it on any optics.

And be careful of eyepiece coatings. I did some evil things to a 9mm Nagler
and 22mm Panoptic with the tube stuff.

Well, I now know how it flows, I opened one tube, then un-sealed it and I
had figured it would come out as a paste or something. The or something was
almost like water, I'm still peeling the stuff off the 3 finders that got
coated by it. Hay I can see why it says it's used in the movies to hold
special effect stuff on the body, it don't peel away like other things I've
gotten on. And my M-51 hat is good for while I'm doing astronomy too.
