This one was a bit of a reach. This object is low over the city (Dallas) to my South. The HA data looked pretty good but the OIII was pretty noisy. I added in some Blue as well to enhance the core then built a synthetic green from a combination of the OIII/Blue blended with the highlights from HA. Meade RCX400 12" Yankee Robotics Trifid II 6303 Astrondon 6nm and Optec blue. HA, OII, Blue = 100, 100, 50 minutes. MaxIm, RC Gradient, Noiseware. http://galaxyphoto.com/jw_yankee_rcx_helix.htm -- -- -Jason Ware --------------------------------------------------------- VISIT MY ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY HOMEPAGE!!
