Most predate telescopes (pretty sure Telescopium doesn't ;-) Shawn

You simply dial in the date and local time. These are available for $6- $20 from Orion Telescopes and Binoculars, Sky Publishing or from a well-stocked bookstore. For around $100, plus shipping, you can purchase a Stars Above Personal Planetarium from: http://scientificsonline.com/product.asp?pn=3053085&bhcd2=115910237 which has the advantages of little or no distortion and of being difficult to misplace.

Lots of other useful stuff in it too.
