Subject: GEG adapters

Anyone know if the Meade 10-12-14 adapter for the Lumicon GEG will work
with a C11?
Got a decent deal on a GEG, but the guy had it on his Meade 10".
Adapters aren't much.. so I figure it's no big deal to get one. Just
want to plan ahead.
Of course what would be really cool is if the GEG can be mated to my
FeatherTouch Crayford.

Steve,
My understanding is that the GEG screws into the large threaded opening
and not the 2" threaded back.This is a real advantage of a C-11 over the
C-8, other than aperture of course. Is this larger opening to help
reduce vignetting when adding components to the optical train.
I would probably explore the idea of adding the focuser to the large
opening then the GEG. Van Slyke makes a lot of adapters etc and may have
some. The Meade thread is slightly different than the Celestron thread.
