-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- WHILE IT'S EASY to pick on Christian fundamentalists, e.g. who believe with all their hearts (I would add minds, but apparently not) that God's entire Universe was created in six, contiguous, real-time solar Earth days; while anyone can pick on them, too many other similarly fundamentalist- types of other religious persuasions, Atheists, Agnostics, Buddhists, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, etc. etc., they too are equally deserving to be "picked on" from time to time... So I don't know why we were included in this 'hit' list. Second, what would a 'fundamentalist' atheist look like? There is nothing to indicate that a 'God' exists. That's it. Is there a form of atheism that says there *is* 'proof' for the existence of a 'God' and that these 'moderate' atheists differ from 'fundamentalist' atheists? Does that make *any* sense to members of this NG? (And, 'Yes', it *is* easy to pick on a group who insist that what they espouse is true as 'true' can be, yet cannot prove their beliefs to be true to save their lives. Their whole belief system is built upon one brazen lie after another. They have waged a malicious war on Science. And for that alone they deserve derision.) The gist of the 'message' is true however. There should be no 'sacred cows' when it comes to reporting the truth. Greywolf

There are too many people who can't seem to recognize that someone would defend an argument, but disagree with the conclusion. You have just shown one of the qualities I described: you divide the world into atheists and Christians. And no, I was not insulted that someone challenge my worldview, my worldview is not in question here. You want to challenge a position I take, great. Here you play another game familiar among Fundamentalist Christians. Internally you see all kinds of gradations of strong and weak, but externally you claim to be of one mind. Sorry, but athe*ists* hold a wide range of views. A given flavor of athe*ism* may be simple in description, but that does not make the views simple. >That he kinda exists?
