Hi, What dome control hardware should I aim at to be sure that I later can apply current dome control software? Any good links where I can see possible solutions? Best regards, Niels Foldager

It handles the inevitable "offset" issues from the scope(s) to the actual slit location. There is also another entry called Domeworks IIRC that Pro/Home Dome offers that's I/R based and probably not a good solution if imaging is planned. A lot of ObservaDome customers opt for the Meridian product and I've seen it in operation and it works well with AutomaDome and TPoint and most robotic capable mounts. I have also seen Digital Dome Works in operation as well. It probably wouldn't be a big deal to roll your own either if you can deal with the electronics and firmware. Particularly based around a Rabbit Microprocessor. Regards Bill
