Are the Meade Serues 4000 QX wide angle eyepieces made in China ?
Itīs the case with the new series 5000,
but did not seem to be such with the (other part of) the older Series 4000.
Dust btw. the glass elements seems to be present now and then with the new
5000.

Hi:
Yes. All of Meade's eyepieces are (and have been) made in China. Which
is not a bad thing. The TeleVue eyepieces are made in China, too, and
some of the most innovative eyepieces I've seen are the Chinese William
Optics UWANs.
