Has anyone here ever observed Chi Cygni when it is around 10-11
magnitude? I recommend it. Its the dickens to fish out of its
enviornment when it's that faint but when you find it there's no doubt
about it because its redness rivals V Cygni and S Cephii.

clear, 6 mag skies to ya'll

Yup, long years ago when I used to follow the LPVs (for years now I'm
all about CVs). It was indeed a real bugger to pick out in that crowded
field when it was down to around its 13th magnitude minimum!
