Subject: Canon EOS400 for astrphotography?

Canon announced a new model in the EOS line, the 400D. It has a larger
sensor (10 MP), and includes one of the features from the discontinued
EOS-20Da, magnification in the view mode. Canon has also added a
piezoelectric dust remover that shakes dust particles off of the sensor
window. The maximum ISO is only 1600 versus 3200 in the earlier models
(more noise in the smaller pixels?), and it's attractively priced at
$800 (list).
