Have my eye on new eyepieces for my C5, like the E-lux Celestron 32 mm for instance. But will the 2 inch ep.size be overkill for this little scope? Visually, dimensionally, ......... Regards. Peewee

Even if you were to get a 2-inch diagonal for the C5, you'd probably be hampered by the vignetting. A much better solution is to get the f/6.3 focal reducer from either Meade or Celestron (let price be your guide), which will give you a wider true field of view with the eyepieces you already have. -- Brian Tung <brian@isi.edu > The Astronomy Corner at http://astro.isi.edu/ Unofficial C5+ Home Page at http://astro.isi.edu/c5plus/ The PleiadAtlas Home Page at http://astro.isi.edu/pleiadatlas/ My Own Personal FAQ (SAA) at http://astro.isi.edu/reference/faq.html
