Subject: C5: will 2 inch ep.s be overkill ?

Have my eye on new eyepieces for my C5, like the E-lux Celestron
32 mm for instance.
But will the 2 inch ep.size be overkill for this little scope?
Visually, dimensionally, .........
Regards.

Even if you were to get a 2-inch diagonal for the C5, you'd probably be
hampered by the vignetting. A much better solution is to get the f/6.3
focal reducer from either Meade or Celestron (let price be your guide),
which will give you a wider true field of view with the eyepieces you
already have.

Hey PeeWee, forget the 2 inch Weye Piece and just get a Nabraska
Jack-e-lope head and mount that on yer C5. All the mallies are doin it!

Enjoy.
