WHILE LIBERALS are counting their chickens before they
hatch, I have several comments on Republican strategy
between now and the 2008 U.S. Presidential elections...

Although I did get it right in 2000, that Bush would
be elected but not by common election (even Liberals
agree that Bush was appointed, not elected, President).
And although I did get it right in 2004, that President
George W. Bush would be resoundingly *elected* President,
thus is why I wrote he would be (re)elected, all to wit:

http://groups.google.com/groups?as_q=&num=100&scoring=d&as_epq=Daniel+Joseph+Min&as_oq=&as_eq=&as_ugroup=&as_usubject=&as_uauthors=&lr=&as_drrb=q&as_qdr=&as_mind=1&as_minm=1&as_miny=1981&as_maxd=8&as_maxm=11&as_maxy=2006&safe=off

Notwithstanding, I obviously overestimated the American
public with regard to yesterday's blood bath against our
G.O.P.! The Republicans resolutely *SURRENDERED* control
over the Lower House of the U.S. Congress, but they are
hanging on by *one* seat in the Upper House (at least I
got that part exactly right).

Therefore, and with much regret, I must publicly confess
with all shame and humility that I was *WRONG* about the
House of Representatives. The significant majority of the
voting populace wants Pinko Liberals Dean, Pelosi, Reed,
Soros, Moore, Churchill, Sheehan, ad nauseam, to get one
last chance to drag America and the whole world down with
them on their way into the abyssal of chaos and Hellfire.

On the bright side, ballot initiatives defining marriage
as between one man and one woman passed in flying colors
in some States, leading me to believe that not every [D]-
voter is a hard-line, radical left-wing Liberal Atheist;
they will be disappointed to see the aforesaid's insane
Anti-American Anti-Christian agenda force Congress into
perpetual gridlock, while President Bush excercises his
Executive privilege, and his coup de maitre: Veto Power!

Also, with Republicans in control of the USSC, watch for
many of the formerly-Liberal USSC decisions to get shot
down in flames, and new Fair and Balanced decisions, like
ruling the popular theory of Intelligent Design, etc., to
be superimposed right over the top of the orthodox Atheist
theory of Evolution in all of America's public schools in
all 50 States bar none. That's definitely on the horizon.

Finally, I do look forward to the Congressional gridlock
further dividing the moral-majority Republicans from the
anarchistic/antichristic Liberal Atheistocrats--with MUCH
bellicosity and heretofore unheard of [D]ivisive rhetoric.

Yours In Humility,
Daniel Joseph Min

I'm not sure exactly what you think a liberal is, but I'm pretty sure that
'liberals' would be the first to say that Bush wasn't elected in 2000.

That said, the incessant use of the word 'liberal' with pejorative intent
has really robbed it of any meaning at all. Like 'left-wing' and 'right-
wing', it really now means little more than "someone I hate because they
don't agree with me".

Not so! There is sediment, rock, sand, magnesium nodules,
etc. at the bottom of the ocean. If you're still finding
water, you haven't reached the bottom yet. ;-)

"bitterpants"? That's a new one on me.....WTF does it mean? Googling

It can be looked at another way -- the GOP is not what has engineered
the past 6 years, it is a coalition of individuals centered around
Rove and Cheney, who are lame ducks no matter what happens to
Congress. They used the mechanisms of the GOP and some of its
followers' by pandering as needed to their ideological commitments.
But the coalition members are happy, satisfied ducks. 6 years of
partisan control has the group's members sitting pretty. THey can
start letting go, and enjoys what they have set up for themselves,
just as there has to be a time when bank robbers say, "we've got
enough -- let's clear out!".

Oh, right, not all the robbers got out. Abramoff, Lay, etc. Oh well,
they were useful to the core group.

More predictions? Care to predict the year, and in which state this
lawsuit will begin?

Actually your predictions require stronger central government than the
GOP and a real conservative would claim to want. See how the GOP, and
you, have been duped?

I hope so.

It was discovered shortly after the American revolution that The US
can not give freedom away. it has to be born internally, and grow as
a movement from within the national body. The US invasion of Canada
was a failure. The Us continued to relearn this lesson again and
again over the next 300+ years about very 30 years or so. The last
major lesson was the given to us in the rice paddy of SE Asia. This
lesson is current lesson is given to us in the Sands of Arabia. This
is a lesson we still have failed to learn from history.

Freedom can't be granted to another person, people or country. It
Must be earned. Ripped from the hands of the tyrants, by the people
that seek it.

The unlawful actions of invading and removing a properly installed
government of another country was immoral and unethical. This ill
thought out plan, was created and conducted by a government headed
run by an idiot.
