No doubt the mental midgits will scurry into their complicated
celestial sphere and ignore the elegant astronomy and astronomical
insights from remote antiquity.
The alignment each year occurs at the same time signifying the
maximum deviation in orbital position from the Equinoxes and even
though these great people from antiquity would have noted it in terms
of maximum daylight/darkness asymmetry,it is an excellent way to
appreciate the development of the Equation of Time system based on the
same principle.

No sense of curiousity and only a dull and dreary acceptance of the the
Earth's motions forced into a calendar system of 3 years of 365 days
and 1 year of 366 days.This is far removed from the gorgeous testaments
to astronomical understanding of all those great civilisations .They
never allowed the weak,the feebleminded and the insincere to dictate
and dominate this great heritage until recently when the emergence of
the empirical cult rendered even the great Western achievements into a
convoluted mess.
