Subject: A focuser for a Meade LX200 14"

Hi,

I've just purchased a Meade LX200 14". Now, I need a fine 2" focuser
with 2 speed; Crayford better. I've tried a William Optics and it ran
well, but the thread didn't screw in until the deep end. It seemed
focuser+diagonal+eyepiece set hang of the thread. It wasn't plug in
until the telescope surface and focuser face contact.
Has anybody tested any other focuser?
Which one do you use?
Which one do you recommend?

Advanced thanks.

I have personally used a JMI NGS-F on my SCT and I have been quite
satisfied with it.
It is more robust than the Meade Crayford focuser.

Hi:

Maybe I'm misunderstanding you...you didn't like the WO because it
screwed on all the way? That's what most people _want_ it to do. I've
used several WO units and I think they are the best choice as far as
price/performance goes.

Ditto, but the NGF-S is out of production.

Today the best focuser is, arguably, the Clement:

Hi,

I'm sorry. Perhaps I didn't explain well. WO didn't screwed on all the
way the telescope thread. When I thread focuser in telescope, when I
can't continue to screw, there is a space 5mm between the two elements.
Not all course of screw is threated.
Do I explain it good?

Hi:

But if it's firmly attached, who cares? Is this just aesthetics?
