Subject: AURORA Borealis Active Now!

A bright aurora is currently visible and has been visible for much of
the night from Montana.

A long, bright homogeneous arc has been visible extending from the
northwest to the east-northeast for much of the evening. At times
bright green, rayed arcs have been visible.

All of the activity has been low in my northern sky -- near the
horizon.

Although I'm further south, thanks for the heads up, Willie. This set
of aurora were probably the result of the Earth passing through the
ecliptic near the equinox where there is a higher density of solar wind
particles. - Canopus56
