They just issued the official names, as seen at the Sky and Telescope
web site. Eris is 2003UB313, the moon is Dysnomia.

If so, there are two jokes in the name - Dysnomia was the spirit of
lawlessness and Xena (Mike Brown's original nickname for 2003 UB313) was
played by Lucy Lawless.
We need a mnemonic for the new Solar System, and to start the ball
rolling I've adapted the one I found in Ellison Hawks's "Stars Shown to
the Children" (published 1910). It was written when there were only
eight known planets!
