I'm trying to enter Vesta into my old version of Starry Night.

Culled from the web, I got these numbers:

Mean Distance (a): 2.3607012339 (AU)
Eccentricity (e): 0.09035411
Inclination (i): 22.735663
Ascending Node: 18.172803
Arg of pericentre: 237.07614
Mean Anomaly (L): 138.49976
Epoch: 2444686.5

But those aren't correct, because it's placing it in Virgo instead of in
Ophiuchi.

Anyone got some better numbers? Thanks!

The easiest way to get up-to-date positions for comets or asteroids is
using RTGUI, the free real-time astronomy software for Windows.

Download the program (very small), give it your location. Then press the
"Get Comet/Asteroid" button, and enter Vesta in the name field. It
downloads 60 days' worth of positions, at hourly intervals. You can take
this data into the field, where you don't have an internet connection.
The next time you select "Vesta", it reads the current position off your
drive, which you can use for "Goto", or "Skymap" (Cartes du Ciel). You
can do this with any asteroid or comet in the MPE database.

Thanks, those numbers put it spot-on to what I had read elsewhere:

a 2.361431 (AU)
e 0.088643
i 7.1333
Node 103.9376
w (Arg of pericentre) 150.2206
L 15.6439
Epoch 2453000.5
