Are there any of these images as stereo pairs that I don't need glasses for?
I couldn't find any.

In the past I've found that I can see the 3-d effect in blue/red pairs by
just holding a red filter in front of one eye. The other eye gets enough of
the blue info to create the 3-d effect. Perhaps I just have weird eye
wiring, but give it a try.

Try it with glasses. See:

If you've got Photoshop, or any other program that lets you separate
color channels, it's trivial to make your own stereo pairs. Just copy
the red channel into one grayscale image, and the blue into the other.
You can then position those for either cross-eyed or parallel viewing.

Ttry this link:
http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/stereo/multimedia/index.html
The fist thumbnail (blue image) brings up a page with several small
parallel images. Clicking on those brings up individual panes. Kind of
a pain to use, but you can save the pairs and use something like
Stereo Photo Maker to call up the panes and view them with any method
you'd like.

I haven't found the motherload of stereo imagery yet either.

I'd have to disagree. 3D adds information that it is not possible to see
with SOHO data.

Not 3D but just as good, the tv I saw the vid on the newscaster had them
show it frame by frame and the SoHo was just as good, even better as it goes
into other parts of the light too and they've shot over 100 comets going
into the sun too. Didn't see any of them on the vid which would have been
better.
