So I might as well steer you toward likenesses of the James Webb Telescope. See: http://images.google.com/images?q=Webb%20Telescope Have a good day in my killfile.

Fact is Jim is a nickname for James, as in James Web Telescope. Jack is a nickname for John. Don't know of any John Webb telescope; unless you can enlighten us. -- Rick Evans --------------------------------------------------------------- Lon -71° 04' 35.3" Lat +42° 11' 06.7"

I see that one went over your head. Jimmy Webb wrote the song "MacArthur Park," which included the line "Someone left the cake out in the rain." Jack Webb, from Dragnet, would always ask "Just the facts, Ma'am."

I already got the joke about the stiff detective and the singer. So, we're almost even. I watched Dragnet growing up. I listened to MacCarther Park in my youth. That said it's evident that my reference to the Jim vs. Jack as nicknames went over YOUR head. -- Rick Evans --------------------------------------------------------------- Lon -71° 04' 35.3" Lat +42° 11' 06.7"

OK, now, for 10 points AND the game... who was the announcer who said, "The names have been changed to protect the innocent?"
