Dear Group, What a great spectacle earlier today involving two of the three brightest objects in the daytime sky. For a glimpse of today's lunar occultation of Venus, I kindly direct you to the following links: http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Occult-2007-06-18.htm http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Occult-2007-06-18b.htm http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Occult-2007-06-18c.htm I hope you find the results of interest. Clear skies! Anthony. <http://www.perseus.gr >

Thanks to John for the previous post which alerted me to the event Thanks to Anthony and Pete for the superb pics ( as always) For a glimpse of today's lunar >occultation of Venus, I kindly direct you to the following links: > >http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Occult-2007-06-18.htm >http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Occult-2007-06-18b.htm >http://www.perseus.gr/Astro-Lunar-Occult-2007-06-18c.htm > >I hope you find the results of interest. > >Clear skies! > >Anthony. ><http://www.perseus.gr>
