Hey y'all...or more specifically, those of y'all who have ham
tickets...
After a couple of changes of ISPs and computers, I've got Echolink up
and goin' again, and if you'd like to talk telescopes/astronomy, look
for me around 2200utc or so on the weekdays...

That is foolish and you know it! Federal law, particular with regards
to Ham stations ALWAYS trumps local regulation and laws. Now If you
want to put up a 250' tall antenna, the local building inspector can
AND should ask you to prove you know what you're doing. Around here
the rightard subdivision trustees tried to prevent me from putting up
my antenna, actually took me to court. I called the local FCC office
and had them send a letter to the judge. Trustess had to pay court
costs and my cost out of their personel pockets.
