Subject: Meade LX200 Classic - Star catalogue of 351 stars
I have access to a Meade LX200 with an older classic controller. The
Meade manual includes at page 41, a stellar catalogue list of 351
stars. Is this list available in a text format? I would like to
import this list into a miscellanous planetarium program. - Canopus56

Hi Canopus56,

Go to the Meade site and download the LX200 Classic manual PDF
http://www.meade.com/manuals/index.html

Select and copy the list of 351 stars and paste it into your word processor
or spreadsheet.

Voila!

I have an Excel file with the first 250 (the ones after that are
doubles). You can download it at www.cloudbait.com/misc/meade_stars.xls
