Just went to the International Star Registry site and this is what I
found in small letters:
"Interational Star Registry star naming is not recognized by the
scientific community.
Your star's name is reserved in International Star Registry records
only."
I guess we have finally won!

That IS kind of satisfying...
But still, it'd be SO COOL to have everyone have to call our star,
"the Marty." I'd be strutting around like John Travolta at the end of
"Saturday Night Fever," or that guy that won the custody battle for Anna
Nichole's baby, and It'd be shining away up there...
oh, wow...

For a comparison of drawings made utilizing a 150 foot solar tower
versus a 102mm SCT the curious reader can go to the above site and
click on the Martyspot drawing link and compare the sketch found there
with the latest sketch in my blog ;-)
