Comet C/2006 VZ13 (LINEAR) is in Draco and maybe/almost visible in = binoculars. I tried from home last night (Sunday, 7/8) with 10x42 = binoculars but saw nothing. I then tried with my TV76 and i think i = could just barely see a little fuzzball. Transparency was poor and i'm = not 100% sure i spotted the comet. Tomorrow (Tuesday, 7/10) i'm planning = to be out on the open desert and will try again. However the forecast is = for overcast skies. .Florian Palm Springs, Calif. http://www.stargazing.com/

I spent Tuesday night in the Anza-Borrego desert of southern Calif. = Found the comet easily through 10x32 binoculars. Through the Tele Vue 76 = was a round ball with no tail visible. .Florian
