Hi all,

A bit of a rush to grab my first light CaK image this morning as the
clouds were fast approaching. The diagonal streaks across the image
are the result of high cirrus spoiling the view. A surprising view,
for me anyway, as the CaK PST image was a lot brighter than I had been
led to believe. Visually, I could see the active regions quite
distinctly. In comparison with the H-alpha view, the amount of detail
visible in CaK won hands down today.

This capture is really remarkable. One of the first things I
noticed is how well defined the "limb darkening" is brought
out on this frequency.

Thanks for the post.

Ben

Dear Pete,

Suffice it to say that you mastered the imaging of the sun (amongst
other things)!

Nice work!

Anthony.
